MATCH PREVIEW: Burnham Ramblers vs Cannons Wood

Cannons Wood return to cup action as we take on Burnham Ramblers in the Second Round of the League Challenge Cup.

This will be the ninth meeting between the two clubs, but remarkably, it will be the first time we have faced Burnham Ramblers in a cup competition.

The Cannons head into the tie with a strong record against Burnham from the previous eight meetings and will be looking to continue that form as we target a place in the next round.

Victory would also make a little bit of club history, taking Cannons Wood further in the League Challenge Cup than we have ever been before.

If previous meetings are anything to go by, goals could certainly be on the menu. The eight matches between the sides have produced an incredible 39 goals — an average of almost five goals per game!
